About Vero Beach Massage Therapist

Hi! Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Ilene Lopez and I have a real passion for making people feel good and I began my career as a massage therapist in Vero Beach by beginning to explore Reiki. It was through that modality of massage therapy that I found myself thoroughly enjoying the learning process of how amazing the human body is and how it can heal itself. Having a human connection with people that need relief from pain or just want to relax is very rewarding for me. I also am a licensed facial specialist (FB9741730) and provide skin care services. I’m a graduate of Alpha Institute of the Treasure Coast for massage and studied skin care at Indian River State College. I’m a member of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA) and I keep abreast of the latest news and trends that revolve around this wondrous industry. I also have experience working in luxurious high end spas, as well as therapeutic massage centers which has thoroughly enriched my LMT skills and techniques.

Some of my hobbies include cooking, travel, writing and spending time with close friends. Along with massage therapy I love all things related to skin and beauty, which includes helping people look the very best they can. Taking great care of your skin through superficial facial treatments alone isn’t the only way to achieve beautiful skin. My philosophy is that when you feel good coming from the inside then that radiates how well you look on the outside. What we put into our bodies affects how we feel and how we look. I like educating clients on how to look and feel better since it will help them on the long term rather than their well-being be a short lived state. I currently provide skin-care services along with massage at Panache of Vero Beach. I perform micreodermabrasion facials, medical-grade peels and European facials that are customized according to your personal skin care needs.

I am a non-smoker and try to take care of myself as best as I can by practicing yoga, qi gong, meditating, and keeping fit at home. I’m also fluent in Spanish and I try my best to keep a flexible schedule for all of my clients. My goal is to continue providing the very best professional quality massage and skin care services for my clients along with pursuing continuing education in both massage therapy and esthetics.

I’m currently gathering information and training regarding massage in hospital and hospice settings along with oncology massage therapies. My vision is to reach out to the population of medically complex clients that could greatly benefit from massage therapy. Offering my services in a clinical setting would allow me to work closely with the patients’ physician, family and wellness team, which could ultimately enhance the quality of life for the client.

My training included 500 program hours from the Alpha Institute of The Treasure Coast. I have also become Certified through Continuing Education and have had advanced training in the following modalities:
• Clinical Applications of Deep Tissue Therapy
• Myofascial Sports Massage
• Orthoflexology
• Geriatric Massage
• Compassionate Touch®
• Oncology Massage
• Advanced Chinese Bodywork
• The Art of Tuina
